Microsoft has launched last year, a massive marketing campaign for the operating system Windows 8 and tablet computer services upon their release in October, and in spite of the unsatisfactory results in sales , but Microsoft did not tolerate larger amount allocated for marketing and new Windows 8.1 .
According to the site Winsupersite , Microsoft spent 241 million $ on sales and marketing Windows to consumers last year, and the company intends to raise its budget this year to be about $ 405 million provision , including 131 million $  for special offers and incentives, while the rest will be spent on marketing operations .
Giant seeks to pay operating systems sales of tablet computers operating system Windows more in retail stores , where you want Microsoft to sell 16 million tablet running Windows during the upcoming holiday season .
Microsoft has worked on improvements in stores and marketing efforts to be more convincing users to buy a Tablet PC running Windows .
